  • Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site
  • Compensation: Mid-$60,000 salary range

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in a busy, professional environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients while supporting litigation and real estate matters.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
  • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and scheduling
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and distribute legal correspondence and documents
  • Handle incoming calls and client communications professionally
  • Maintain electronic and physical client files
  • Assist with new matter intake and conflict checks
  • Coordinate scanning, filing, copying, and document management activities
  • Support billing processes, expense tracking, and time entry
  • Assist with court filings and litigation-related documentation
  • Maintain client contact information and records
  • Provide backup support to team members as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and firm information

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative, legal assistant, or related experience
  • Prior law firm experience preferred
  • Litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting attorneys in a professional legal environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with court filing systems is a plus
